Meet Jonah. He hails from Loxton in the Riverland of South Australia. Loxton is a small town with a population of 4,500 but that never stopped Jonah from thinking big.
Jonah joined the Tuckwell community in 2016 and instantly felt at home in Ursula Hall, where we built friendships quickly with people from all walks of life.
An active member of Scholars House, Jonah volunteered his knowledge and wit to be the official Tuckwell trivia master, running trivia events on interview weekend and at camp. Jonah also has music in his genes. His parents met in a band touring America and he spent several years with the ANU Music Society Jazz Band.
Jonah undertook a Bachelor of Philosophy in Science and completed his honours thesis titled with Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics at ANU. In recognition of his academic achievements, he was awarded a university medal in 2019.
