2015 Bell Ringer elected

4 June 2015

Congratulations to Tuckwell Scholar Mary Parker who has been elected by her peers as the 2015 Bell Ringer.

A new Bell Ringer is selected each year from amongst the newest intake of students, and becomes a representative figure for the group. The Bell Ringer is the person who has most clearly demonstrated the attributes of a Tuckwell Scholar: smart and lateral thinker, self-disciplined, willing to challenge themselves, good sense of humour, selfless, humble, resilient, innately driven and determined, emotionally intelligent, constant, open, and refreshingly different.

Mary completed Year 12 at Pimlico State High School, and made the move from Townsville in February 2015 to commence her studies at ANU in the Flexible Double Degree program Bachlor of Laws (Hons)/Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

She currently sits as on the Scholars House enrichment program committee as a 2015 rep.

Well done Mary!
