Tuckwell academic dinner

The first academic dinner for 2015 was held yesterday, 31 March at University House with the 2014 and 2015 Tuckwell Scholars, the Fellows. The Scholars each invited an academic from their particular area of interest, giving them a chance to share a meal with them and find out more about their academic interests and themselves more generally.

Professor Peter Kanowski (Master of University House and a Tuckwell Fellow) hosted the evening, which was structured in the style of the University of Oxford academic dinners. Peter, as a Rhodes Scholar (Australia-at-Large & St John's) who received his DPhil at Oxford, was perfectly-placed to do this!
