In this episode, Head of Scholars House, Michelle Barrett sits down with Janee Emms, from Mackay QLD, a 2021 Tuckwell Scholar in her final year at ANU, completing her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts with a major in Criminology.
Janee shares her experiences studying law, her unexpected interest in corporate and tax law, and her aspirations to enter the field of employment law. In this episode, she also recounts her upbringing in Queensland, her challenging yet fulfilling transition to living in Canberra, her exchange program in Canada, and her competitive baton twirling career including international competitions.
