In this episode, Associate Professor Michelle Barrett talks to 2020 Tuckwell Scholar, Marissa Ellis.
Marissa graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Philosophy – Science (Honours) degree from ANU and is now in her first year of the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery program.
They discuss acclimatising to Canberra’s seasons, her Honours work with Clear Vision Research in retinal degenerative disease, as well as the highs and lows of her time as a Tuckwell Scholar.
