We were delighted to host our very first Alumni Reception events in Melbourne and Sydney recently – milestone gatherings that have been in the plans for many months and are now proudly part of the Tuckwell Alumni program.
In Melbourne, local Alumni came together at a rooftop bar on Lygon Street, enjoying sweeping views and mostly sunny skies. The afternoon was filled with warm conversation, reconnection, and stories of life after graduation.
The following week in Sydney, Alumni gathered in Redfern, for another vibrant
afternoon of networking and reflection, strengthening bonds across the growing community. Program staff and founders Graham and Louise Tuckwell joined the Melbourne event, with Graham also attending in Sydney, making these occasions even more memorable.
These receptions mark the beginning of many more Alumni events to come, with plans
already underway for gatherings in other states next year, as well as international opportunities for our many globally dispersed Alumni.
The Tuckwell Alumni community continues to inspire younger cohorts of Scholars, proving that the friendships and connections formed at Scholars House extend far beyond its walls.
