2024 Tuckwell Scholar, Mehvish Mehboob, awarded Swiss Prize for essay written in Italian

The Swiss Prize is a trilingual essay competition held annually since 1998 by the Swiss Embassy in Australia in collaboration with the ANU. 

This year's topic challenged students to explore the complexities of Swiss neutrality. 

Mehvish was awarded the prize for her brilliant essay: La neutralità come fattore unificante: Il contributo della neutralità politica alla coesione interna della Svizzera, which translates to:

Neutrality as a unifying factor: The contribution of political neutrality to the internal cohesion of Switzerland
