Chair of Tuckwell Board becomes Rhodes Australia National Secretary

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Marnie Hughes-Warrington has taken over the reins of the Australian Rhodes Community, replacing Rhodes Australia National Secretary Professor Graham Hutchinson AM.

She is the first woman to lead the Australian contingent of Australians who have been Rhodes Scholars, and replaces Professor Hutchinson who served the Rhodes trust for 18 years.

Professor Hughes-Warrington, herself a Rhodes Scholar (Tasmania & Merton 1992) is also the chair of the Tuckwell Scholarships Board and is also an active researcher in history and philosophy.
