Six Tuckwell Scholars awarded University Medals in 2022
The University Medal for Academic Excellence is awarded yearly by The Australia National University. The prize recognises students who have obtained First Class Honours (or Masters Advanced Equivalent) and demonstrated exceptional academic excellence across their studies.
The award of a Medal is determined on the basis of the full assessment of the academic track record of the candidate. To be selected as a candidates for a University Medal, scholars are nominated from their ANU schools of study for academic excellence and selected by the College Medals Committee.
This year six Tuckwell Scholars were presented with this prestigious award:

- Martha Reece (2019 scholar)
- Ben Durkin (2018 scholar)
- Meghan Malone (2018 Scholar)
- Samuel Cass (2017 scholar)
