Rain or Shine, Tuckwell Winter Celebration Brings Joy to Scholars House to mark the end of Semester

Last week, the Tuckwell Scholarship Program hosted its annual Winter Celebration, bringing Scholars House to life with laughter, conversation, and fun.

Over 80 current scholars and staff came together for an afternoon of joy, featuring the traditional funny-hat competition and delicious Greek food from Little Mez. Despite the cold, rainy weather, spirits remained high as Scholars enjoyed heartfelt reunions and bid bittersweet farewells to those graduating mid-year and embarking on exciting careers.

The Winter Celebration serves as an informal yet cherished gathering for Scholars and staff—a final event before semester one concludes. It provides a chance to unwind before exam preparations begin and before Scholars depart for mid-year adventures, whether heading home, traveling overseas on exchange, or simply enjoying a well-earned break with family.
