The Tuckwell Scholarship Program held its annual Winter Celebration on Friday, filling Scholars House and surrounds with energy and lively conversation. Scholars and staff gathered for delicious freshly made pizzas from Alex the Pizza Guy. A standout moment of the afternoon was the infamous fancy hat competition. The title went to first year Scholar Niya Singhal (2026) for her unique, spiral Santa hat!
The event provided an opportunity for the Tuckwell community to come together as the semester draws to a close. Scholars caught up with friends, shared experiences from the past months, and took time to relax ahead of the busy exam period.
The Winter Celebration offers a relaxed setting for connection and reflection before exams and the mid-year break, whether Scholars are heading home to spend time with loved ones, travelling, or simply taking time to recharge, the event marks an important moment in the year for the Tuckwell Scholarship Program.
